SECED is affiliated with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Workforce Coordinating Council. The purpose of the Workforce Investment Act is to maintain and expand job services to better serve the needs of prospective employees and employers. The Colorado Job Services Centers, now known as Workforce Centers, are the primary focus of the planning process. Upgrading the physical workforce centers in each county has been the primary focus. Southeast Colorado’s Workforce Coordinating Council is administered by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
