The SECED region is also known as Southeast Colorado/Santa Fe Trail Film Commission.
The Colorado Film Commission is the State of Colorado’s arm for promoting motion
picture and television production. The Commission depends upon strong public-private
partnership to help the industry achieve success in Colorado. The Southeast
Colorado/Santa Fe Trail Film Commissioners scout and promote the 19 rural western
towns, with populations ranging from 50 to 8,500.
If you would like to participate in efforts to promote our region please contact
SECED. We will add you to our compiled list of email recipients for Colorado
Film Commission proposal of projects. When the film commission advertises film
industry requests of scenic areas and/or backdrop environments, those requests
will be passed on to you for review. If you have material that fits the request
you can advise us and we will assist you submitting your samples for film commission
review.
